Ingredients for Cocostar Biscuit (Coconut Filled Moist Biscuit) Recipe

  • 250 grams of margarine
  • Half a cup of powdered sugar
  • Half a cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of cocoa
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 4 cups of flour

How to Make Cocostar Biscuit (Coconut Filled Moist Biscuit)

  1. First, prepare the syrup. Add sugar, water and lemon to a pot.
  2. Place it on the stove, when it starts boiling, boil for 5 minutes and remove from the heat.
  3. Let it cool. Let’s prepare the filling for the biscuits. Put coconut, powdered sugar and egg white in a bowl and mix.
  4. If you want a cohesive mixture, you can add some vegetable oil. The filling is ready.
  5. Now let’s move on to the dough. Add all the ingredients except flour to a bowl and mix.
  6. Then add the flour and knead until it becomes a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
  7. My dough is ready, now let’s start making our cocostar biscuits. Take pieces of dough the size of a walnut and open the center.
  8. Add the coconut and fold, roll and place on a baking tray.
  9. Continue until all the dough is finished.
  10. When the ingredients are finished, I bake them in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 15 minutes.
  11. But the baking time may vary from oven to oven, be careful and remove from the oven when they are done.
  12. Once they cool down, dip them in the prepared syrup and wait for 30-40 seconds before taking them out.
  13. Apply the same process to all the biscuits.
  14. When the syrup is well absorbed, transfer to a serving plate.
  15. Decorate the top and serve.
