Ingredients for Chocolate Cookie Recipe

  • 125 grams of butter/margarine
  • 1 teacup of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • Close to 3 cups of flour (add gradually)

How to Make Chocolate Cookie Recipe?

  1. Take butter, vegetable oil, and egg into a kneading bowl, mix, add vanilla, baking powder, powdered sugar, and cornstarch, mix, add flour gradually and obtain a soft dough that does not stick to the hand.
  2. Place parchment paper on the counter, divide the dough in half, put one part on the parchment paper, press lightly with your hands to expand it a bit.
  3. Place parchment paper on top and roll out a little with a rolling pin on the counter, do not roll out the dough too thin.
  4. Remove the parchment paper and shape the dough using the cookie molds you prefer, place them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in a 170-degree oven for about 18-20 minutes without browning too much on top, then let it cool.
  6. For the chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate using a bain-marie method, dip one side of the cooled cookies into the chocolate, place them on the tray for the chocolate to set, then move to a serving plate when the chocolate has set.
  7. After the chocolate has set, I melted white chocolate and drizzled it in stripes on top, but you may skip this step if you wish. Enjoy to those who will try.
